Our Water Campaign

For two years, Our Water Campaign has fought to ensure safe, affordable, publicly controlled water for all Pittsburghers. To bring the public into the debate and help pressure the Pittsburgh Water an Sewer Authority (PWSA) to act on the lead crisis, Our Water Campaign decided to launch a yard sign campaign, which Green Comma Media designed. As the yard signs sprung up in yards across town, making clear the public’s interest in maintaining public control of our infrastructure, the PWSA, now under new management and leadership, began to make serious progress in ensuring safe water for all.
